Partnerships Make the Mission Possible

Partnerships Make the Mission Possible

Our Mission
To work with others to conserve, protect and enhance fish, wildlife and plants and their
habitats for the continuing benefit of the American people.

Our Objectives
Assist in the development and application of an environmental stewardship ethic for our society, based
on ecological principles, scientific knowledge of fish and wildlife, and a sense of moral responsibility.

Guide the conservation, development, and management of the Nation’s fish and wildlife resources.

Administer a national program to provide the public opportunities to
understand, appreciate, and wisely use fish and wildlife resources.

Thank you to the U.S. FISH AND WILDLIFE for backing Soul River/New Currents, Outdoors in our pursuit to reach community youth and veterans! By taking these two groups into the outdoors and providing the means (from gear to logisitics), these expeditions become not just another outing, but an opportunity to expose new minds to Mother Nature. We use fly fishing as an opportunity to learn, heal, and act as a vechicle to explore art, science, self awareness and respect, not only to Mother Nature and ourselves, but to others around us.

Thank you U.S. FISH AND WILDLIFE for your support of Angler’s Quest, May 30th to June 1st on the Hoh River in the Olympic National Forest. Your continued support is appreciated and aligned with the mission of SR/NCO in helping us bring new minds into the oudoors and reconnecting each participant back to nature.

We want to also give a big THANK YOU(!) to our partners and sponsors –  Tualatin River Valley Wildlife Refuge, LOOP USA, Sierra Club, City of Vancouver Parks & Recreation, Scientific Anglers, Costa Eyewear, SKOUT Organic, Sea Run Pursuits, EvolTwin Printing & Education Recreational Adventures

Thanks, also, to all leaders and instructors – Stefanie Scovill, Brian Chou, Jeff Nelson, Jason Small, J Michelle Swope, John Hicks, Johnie Tucker and Team, and Mark Roberts!Thank you to all the youth and veterans for giving us the opportunity to share our passion with you.
And last but not least, thank you OPB (Oregon Public Broadcasting) for documenting for a future show airing later this year (October) on television. We look forward to seeing this epic experience all over again on screen and having the chance to share with the world how impactful this opportunity was!
Tight Lines!
