Ben Rogers is definitely a newer face on the fly fishing scene. He brings his years of experience with a fresh and unique perspective.
Ben is a Fly tyer, has guided for fly shops, and has volunteered as a guide for Project Healing Waters. Once a participant in the program as an Army veteran, Ben has been featured in one of the few documetary films.
Ben has a background in communications an has been a voice on a radio broadcast show at Shippensburg University in Pennsylvania.
When not fishing or spending time with his family, Ben is involved in conservation efforts through Cumberland Valley Trout Unlimited.
He assists with their youth fly fishing camp and “Street to Streams” program that takes at risk kids fly fishing, connecting them with an avenue to release and decompress.
Ben writes for a fly fishing blog that expresses the artistic passion of the fly fishing lifestyle. This blog is intended to reach a community of diverse fly anglers and provides a platform for discussion on the many aspects of the sport.
His future projects with media will attempt to merge the urban-soul lifestyle with the solace of the river with fly rod in hand.
